OMG! It's been months since I last posted on this blog. If you have been reading my blog before, I have mentioned that I created a new baby which niche is under beauty and fashion so I am posting more articles there instead of here. Despite that being said, I want to add more posts, (of course) on this site. Let's start with something personal. 

I bought a personal printer because of my work. Last May, I was hired as a public school teacher here in Pampanga. A printer is needed in my line of work because of so many documents needed to be printed.

If I will to choose, I just want a simple printer but Jaycee was the one who keeps on convincing me to get a 3-in-1 since it has a scanner and a copier. Plus the fact that it's double the price keeps me thinking if I needed the latter. 

 

In the end, I ended up getting the printer with a scanner and copier... and Jaycee was right! I can maximize the use of it through printing photos and making them into a scrapbook which I really wanna do a long time ago but never had the chance to start. Plus, this saves my time going to a photocopying store just to have a single paper be recopied. ^_^

HYATT Hotel and Casino Manila supports Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a worldwide event organised since 2007 by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and held annually towards the end of March, encouraging households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change.

As part of the brand’s signature corporate social responsibility campaign, Thrive, Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila proudly participates in Earth Hour’s annual global campaign by turning the lights off for an hour on 23 March from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. 

As a gesture of support, the hotel is turning off exterior lights and minimising non-essential lighting in all public areas and offices, as well as stopping the escalator for an hour.  To add a touch of charm to this event, a romantic candlelit dinner experience awaits diners in all the outlets, especially at The Fireplace where premium steak and wine is the main draw. Guests can also enjoy Room Service in an evening picnic setting with the family in their own room, as well as being pampered at the candlelit Spa at Club Oasis. Aside from these activities, all in-house guests are urged to participate by reducing their power usage during this hour. 

A limited-edition offer at the Pastry Boutique throughout March allows guests to go the extra mile in saving the earth by purchasing a pair of panda cupcakes for only P400 net, with a P60 donation to the World Wildlife Fund and Earth Hour for every pair sold.  Inspired by the World Wildlife Fund mascot, they are made of a chocolate cupcake base with coconut cake and Oreo biscuits, offering a triple treat of luscious goodness.

PLDT myDSL’s best commercial for me is…

Hi everyone. I just had another great find. (^_~) Recently, I watched all PLDT myDSL Anna Banana commercials and I can say I'm really impressed how each commercial portrays a strong connection at home. It always promotes family bond among us Filipinos. 

PLDT myDSL’s best commercial for me is…the original Derek's Anna Banana Song which you can watch here. It shows how mothers are really supportive with their children. I can see myself with her mom. I used to do that to an idol group which I really really like. Even if it's just a simple view, I know I'm making them happy. :)

It's so cute that Anna Banana's video was a success and after the first one, it was succeeded with several videos which you can view below. Each has a very touching plot. ^_^
