Discovery Weekend with Jaycee ♥

Hello everyone. I've been seriously busy this weekend. Jaycee invited me in a seminar where he needs a partner so the good and kind girlfriend in me gave him the favor he needs. haha.. Much to my knowledge, it's me who has been done the favor. ^o^

I am completely clueless that the seminar was all about marriage preparation! Just a short background, J and I had been together for 4 years now. Marriage is actually something we both consider. Just in time that God planned this for us; to attend the Discovery Weekend. 

It was a two-day seminar with couple speakers that share their married life experiences. It was indeed a wonderful time listening to couple stories and how they nourished both of their life together. The topics have been helpful to Jaycee and me.

The mission of the  Discovery Weekend is for couples seriously considering marriage. They can be engaged to marry in a week's time or going steady for a short period but contemplating marriage. The weekend is not necessarily for perfectly matched couples nor is it designed to help unstable relationships. The program is intended to enrich and deepen the couple's relationship to better prepare them for marriage. So any couple may join the program, regardless of the status of their relationship-as long as marriage is in their minds.

Hello everyone! After a week of hiatus in my personal life, I'm once again alive and thankful to all the beautiful things happening around me. Goodbye to all the negativity! You don't know what I'm saying ayt?! Well, let's leave it to that! ^o^

Yesterday, J fetched me from a job fair where I tried submitting my CV. Much to my dismay, no one from 7 companies bothered to call me today so might as well, job hunt again tomorrow. Yes! I'm currently unemployed as of the moment but I'm claiming that I will get the job tomorrow. (agad-agad?) haha.. 

Anyway, let's go with the main topic of the post. After a tedious time yesterday, J treated me to Chic-boy - a newly, opened resto here in San Fernando.

Love is all around me lately! Maybe because I had my first heartbreak few months ago and it opens up a new gateway for me to love even more. Lessons learned and things are changed. They say, 'Love is sweeter the second time around!' I say it's just the right taste!

NOTD: Purple Polish from TFS

I was just all around the house yesterday and what better way to do something than to polish my nails! It so happened that I got a new polish that was sent to me as a gift so I opted to use it instead.

This will be my very first NOTD post. I'm a nail polish and nail art addict myself. It's just that some factors doesn't permit me to post such posts. First, I'm so thin and I just can't imagine how my fingers will look like in the photo. Ack! It looks kind of uhm, 'different'! Second, I don't have a high def camera that will give justice to the wonderful colors of the polishes. That's why as much as I want to post more of it, it just doesn't permits me to do so. 

Now, I bravely brushed it off for a moment so I can do what I just want to do. So here is my first NOTD post here in my blog. :)

We Got Married Seohyun and Yonghwa English Subs!

This whole addiction in the 'We Got Married' episodes of Korea's show started last week. I was so emotional and I think I just need something that will boost my love mood so I preferred watching this instead of a movieor korean series.

We Got Married is a Korean show where there will be a celebrity couple (not in real life couple) that will get married and will live together. Since I'm a fan of CNBLUE's Yonghwa and I like Seohyun of Girl's Generation personality so I opted to watch the show among anybody else. My sister is currently addicted to Leeteuk (Super Junior leader) and Kang Sora (actress) We Got Married episodes.

Food Getaway: Gerry's Grill

J picked me up yesterday afternoon for a quick dinner date. We just stroll around the mall and ate at one of the best Pinoy restaurants in the country - Gerry's Grill!

On top of serving affordable and delicious food, they also provide good customer service. Servers and even the manager were really kind enough to always double check on us if we already have everything we need. :)

Since it's dinner time, we opted to eat quite little than what we were used to. By the way, we always eat a lot! ^o^

Food Getaway: Super Bowl of China (Gateway)

I was so happy to know that J dropped by in my blog the other day. He even liked my fanpage and it's surely a heartfelt gratitude from him. My boo was clueless that I have managed a blog since I don't speak of this too much with him. I'm a frustrated writer you know. The reason why is because first, this is just new and second, I don't want him to see that my blog stats are just low. I'm afraid that he won't be proud of me. Let's just say I want to boast a little on him when this blog got more readers. He proved me wrong! Hearing from him that he's so proud of what I did makes the butterflies in my stomach more crazy! I am more grateful! (^o^)

Last week, me and J went in Manila to pick some 'stuff'. A huge one! We left too late in Pampanga so we finished late with our agenda as well. We managed to hold our hunger and ate around 4:30pmso we agreed that it's late lunch and early dinner - LUNNER? Eeew! I don't have the talent to make up words! haha.. So up we went to Super Bowl of China in Gateway!

Earlier today, my seven year old cousin was playing while I'm doing the dishes. I was so curious because every time that she's out in the game, there's the sound of cat meowing. So I ask her to save the game page so I could take a look at it. 

I already expected that it's one of those children's game. However, the design and challenge was really, really cute. That's why sometimes, he's asking my dad to help her out because it's a bit difficult for her age. I find it easy though but it will still make your mind do the work. Find out for yourself.

Talk to me in Korean (Korean Class for FREE)

While I'm busy sitting in front of the computer all day, my mind was also busy browsing on Google for scrapbooking sites and kpop related news and articles. However, I ended up hooked in Korean language class sites that I ended up blogging about it now! :)

Also, with the help of Sparkling magazine,( the mag  for Kpop fanatics like..ehem.. me! ) I looked into the following sites that offers free classes in learning basic Korean plus in each skill like reading, writing, listening, among others. 

Being a kpop fan and an English teacher for Koreans, I already know much of the basics in hangul. I can also write a bit in hangul. However, I want to have deeper lessons on the language. It's been a goal of mine to learn another language apart from knowing English, Tagalog, Cebuano and Pampango.
